Bird Bottle Feeder

to assemble | 1. Cut and remove jute string to release the steel cable. Remove perch. 2. Through the feeding hole, with your index finger, reach in and push the steel perch loop up against a perch hole. Holding the loop against the inside of the hole, take the perch and push it through the hole then feed it through the steel cable loop then across the bottle into the other perch hole. (see image one). Center in place. 4. Fill with seed, replace lid and hang. 

to position | 1. Hang feeder several inches under a roof or awning, under a thick tree or use a weather dome above to keep blowing rain/snow away from seed.

to clean | 1. Pull out perch through one side of the bottle 2. Open lid and slide the plastic seed baffle out of one feeder hole and remove baffle (see image two), steel cable and lid. Set aside. please note: If C-clips have fallen off the plastic baffle, simply reclamp over each edge and snap into place. 3. Glass bird bottle can now be hand-washed with dish soap and warm water.

to reassemble | 1. Put plastic seed baffle into the bottle feeding it into one hole and then slide back across through the other hole until centered in the bottle. (see image two).  2. Slide each C-clip up to the inside of the feeding holes from the inside of the bird bottle to secure in place. (see image three). please note: If C-clips have fallen off the plastic baffle, simply reclamp over each edge and snap into place. 3. Feed the perch through one perch hole then the steel cable loop and into the other perch hole. (see ‘to assemble’ above) 4. Fill with seed, replace lid and hang.
